Our Goal
Woody’s Museum was established to preserve the history and love of two of America's favorite pastimes—Classic Cars and Baseball for future generations. The 22,000 sq. ft. museum (with more coming soon) features fun and educational displays on two floors and admission is FREE for all visitors!
Our founders, Woody and Patti Wood grew up in the 1950’s, 60’s, and 70’s. Together they developed a love for both the sport of baseball and the beautiful cars of that era.
It seemed only natural to them to begin to collect iconic baseball memorabilia. Later, their enthusiasm for collecting expanded to classic cars and the rest is history. God birthed the idea in them to share these treasures with others preserving their history for perpetuity.
Woody's Classic Cars and Baseball Museum became a reality in Cross Plains, Texas when it was dedicated to the late Danny Lee "Woody" Wood, on his birthday, July 21, 2018. It was a loving promise kept by his wife Patti! The museum is open to the public with free admission Thursday through Saturday 10:00am to 4:00pm.
